Recently discovered barn find is this
1986 Ford Capri registered as a 2. 8 Injection
Original colour was burgundy but now in matt black and V5/ log book states colour is black.
PREVIOUSLY USED AS RACE CAR WITH CHEVY 305 SMALL BLOCK ENGINE THATS IN RUNNING ORDER
Quick Shift gearbox/ selector plus other race modifications that we are not sure about so unable to elaborate
WOULD POSSIBLY DRIVE BUT WE WOULD RECOMMEND RECOVERY/ TRAILER AS IT'S BEEN STANDING FOR A WHILE.
WE HAVE A RECOVERY TRUCK SHOULD YOU WANT THIS VEHICLE DELIVERED AT AN EXTRA COST
Now this vehicle was MOT'd until July 2018 so only recently expired,
but it has been standing for pretty much 12 months so we wouldn't advise driving this vehicle to your destination.
The engine started today after not being fired up for some considerable time,
but we're told there is a gasket cracked, as it sounded quite loud and it was smoking from the exhaust,
but the engine rev'd up fine.
Inside the interior has been stripped and a bucket seat fitted with a 'LUKE' harness in place.
The original fuel tank is in the rear boot area as a modified fuel tank had to be fitted for racing requirements apparently.
Recent new radiator & battery.
There is some body discrepancy on both rear quarter corners (zoom in on pics) and lots of parts either missing or replaced.
