1976 Volkswagen Kombi 2000L , RHD, with left side cargo door + walk through feature. Originally assembled by VW South Africa.
This is a very original & straight Kombi with mostly original paint and is rust free.
Until about a year ago it was owned by a long time owner (31 years) who took great care of it. The original service book is still in the glovebox.
The interior is complete and original. showing minimal wear. Drivers seat needs new foam and has small tear. Headlining is still very good.
Floors: are all in excellent condition with original factory white paint.
The underside & jacking points are all solid.
Doors open & close very well .
The roof gutters are straight and rust free, only needing small touchup at front edges.
There are 2 vertical aluminium strips neatly pop rivetted to the left side of the body for a side tent that is no longer with the Kombi.
Glass is all very good.
Engine starts easily and the Kombi drives well. Engine is still the original as confirmed by the original VWSA service book which is still with the vehicle.
The Kombi is currently registered and the chassis number matches the registration certificate.
