Trike for private sale.
Based on Reliant Super Robin 850cc with manual 4-speed gearbox and much needed reverse gear.
Has been in our family for about 7 years.
Registered 1976 on a P so MOT and TAX exempt.
Totally reliable. We have probably invested about £4, 000 to date and it was money well spent as it starts on the button and has never let us down.
Not a racehorse, just a nice easy going family trike.
Very safe as the prop shaft and axle are enclosed.
All three tyres are excellent.
The front brake pads and rear shoes are all new and the brakes are linked so the foot pedal operates the lot.
I paid out for a new master cylinder recently as well as rear wheel cylinders and a front caliper rebuild so the brakes are all good.
I had a full professional rewire done at great expense as you do get what you pay for.

Everything on it is either a hand made one off, new, rebuilt or has been up cycled and re purposed.
This trike really is unique.
A real head turner.
The switches are mounted on a proper dash panel and are all accessible whilst riding and everything has its own idiot warning light.
Hazards have been installed just in case.
The main bulk of the wiring is enclosed in a custom electrics box and the loom is very neat throughout.
There is plenty of storage with steel panniers over the rear fenders and a drop tailgate boot (all locking). There is also a rack to strap things to.
Most of the chassis is factory original and galvanised so is very heavy duty. All the additional welds are properly done and very strong throughout as you can see.
The body is aluminium checker plate so no rust.
The fuel tank is retained from the car so has plenty of range and I have fitted a Facet electrical fuel pump (made in USA) for reliability. I also replaced the fuel lines, fitted a new filter and have stripped, cleaned and polished the carburettor.
The throttle cable is new as well.
The plugs, caps, leads and distributor are all pretty new as is the Lucas gold sports coil.
The oil and filter was changed recently.
Runs a large heavy duty car battery so no worries there.
Reluctant sale due to lack of space.
