here is my Thames Panel van i bought years ago. plans were to make a replica of the famous green panelvans, used by Team Lotus in the 60ies. too many other Ford projects have kept me from doing it, so i d like to pass it on to someone else who will restore it to former glory.
the van was taken off the road in 1996 and was since then dry stored. bodywise it´s in remarkably sound condition, and as far as i can see it won t need any welding or if then only very little. of course it will need a full resto due to long term storage. i ve had he engine run recently and the old Perkins Diesel behaved like you would expect. some spares i have collected and i will give them with the car, like: original sidelights / the ugly ones on this car were changed due to regulations over here), some brake stuff like, master-cylinder, 4 new wheel cylinders, various seal kits, a clutch friction plate, nos-crossply tires...
the car is located down here in Austria, postcode 4910 about 25miles south of German border and very close to the motorway A8. of course you would need a trailer, as brakes etc are not working currently.
