Beschreibung
The 300 SL was presented at the "International Motor Sports Show" in New York from 6 to 14 February 1954. Mercedes-Benz got very positive responses to the 300 SL at the Motor Show so the series production already started in August 1954 at the Sindelfingen plant.
From 1957 to 1963 a total number of 1. 858 exemplars of the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster were built.
This Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster has been originally delivered in Germany and was sold years later to the USA.
When it was reimported in 1994 the owner restored the car extensively.
