This unique Morris 1000 Traveller was delivered in August 1969 and more recently was purchased by The TV show Salvage Hunters – Classic Cars featuring Drew Pritchard and Paul Cowland. It was subjected to a light restoration in 2018 and a unique makeover with a number of modifications – Brand new banded wheels from Weller with new tyres, a new stainless steel exhaust system, a new wooden steering wheel, lowered suspension and a hand painted wicker design at the rear and on the doors nicely finished off with the name “Wicker Wagon” on the rear door.
The paintwork maintains its original patina, some work was carried out on the ash frame which is now in excellent condition. Bodily the car is extremely sound and there are no signs of major rust. The car was also subjected to a full service and mechanically it runs extremely well. It has a new carpet set and the seats are in good original condition.
