Rare, early Mk1 Xantia with the pre- 'Anti sink' suspension. Only made for the first year or so.
Unfortunately!! it has a dent on the rear wing (see picture) and a scratch on the front wing near side hence the price.
Original top of the range VSX model with velour interior, 4 electric windows, electric tilt slide glass sunroof, electric and heated mirrors, remote locking, Hydractive 2 Semi-active suspension, all working.
Owned over 3 years by Citroen enthusiast, much work carried out to maintain and improve:
New strut tops etc, recent tyres, timing belt and water pump, clutch clip, rebuilt PRV, FDV, height correctors.
Hand brake cables, ball joints, 2x ABS sensors, head gasket done 11 months ago, brake clipers rebuilt 18 months ago and painted (handbrake good and free)
7 suspension spheres changed and Regular servicing
Upgraded stereo with usb/ Bluetooth/ Aux etc
HP pump refurbished by Pleiades. Aux belt and pulley replaced (though the pulley sometimes makes a slight noise first thing)
Air horn added to horn circuit
Starter motor in the last 2 years
Battery terminals and leads replaced.
Rear wheel arches cleaned, inspected and sealed including the 'gap' on the offside.
Diesel pipe renewed, injector leak offs renewed, RH driveshaft replaced, suspension arm lower bushes replaced, rear arm bearings replaced 2 years ago.
Outside temp gauge replaced,
Led bulbs fitted in some places to the interior.
Tracking recently checked and adjusted.
Rare non -airbag leather steering wheel.
Note: fitted with 16" Peugeot alloys (Nimrods) with spacers.
Rocket cover gasket was replaced at the time of the head gasket job,
many photos available - it's a rare and interesting (to me ????) Xantia in one of my favourite colours that's quite useable but unfortunately now dented.
