This rare Austin America was restored six years ago using a 'new old stock shell' and is in fantastic condition. Only 59500 of these cars were ever produced mainly for the American market although some were exported to Canada and Switzerland. It was marketed in the USA as 'the perfect second car'and this car would compliment any collection and has the potential to win shows.
This Austin was restored by a well known master mechanic with over forty years experience and is finished in Snowberry White over Riviera blue. Registered in Northern Ireland on a valuable
BOI2158 number plate the car is available for inspection near Omagh in County Tyrone.
The mileage shows 41324 but this does not reflect the actual mileage of this car which was rebuilt from scratch using a new old stock shell and the car has only actually covered less than 4000 miles. It is now right hand drive.
Engine, gearbox, suspension, interior, exhaust and running gear have all been refurbished or changed up to 'as new' standard.
