The Moto Guzzi 850 GT, launched at the Milan Motor Show in 1971, is equipped with a V7 Special engine with a stroke that has been increased. The 844 cc V-twin develops 51 hp at 6, 000 rpm and features a five-speed gearbox. Much like an Italian mamma, the Moto Guzzi 850 GT?-?and its cousin the 850 GT California with a Harley Davidson style?-?had a serene career until 1974. In its beautiful vintage Rosso Rubino colour, our 850 GT is in good original condition. According to its original libretto, this motorbike was registered in Rome in July 1952. With 22, 085 km on the clock, this relative of the V7 Special constitutes a nice opportunity to ride a beautiful original GT.
We are very proud to present this very moving collection. All the motorcycles reflect a man's passion for different brands and generations of two-wheelers. The ones that made him dream as a child in the 1940s and 1950s, as well as those he enjoyed riding, such as the BMWs and Guzzis. The original condition and low mileage of most of the motorcycles of the collection will certainly catch the attention of demanding collectors.
We inform buyers that the entire collection consists of motorcycles that were, for the most part, left unused for years in a private museum. They are therefore sold as they are and are to be restored and/ or recommissioned.
