1953 Bentley R-Type Drophead
This rare and desirable 1953 Bentley R-Type Drophead with Coachwork by Park Ward is a beautiful original driver. Green with tan leather interior and working power soft-top. Only 2, 320 of these cars built post war came with custom coachwork and of those very few were dropheads. The R-Type is highly collectible and features a superbly refined engine and precise right hand gear change. This particular example starts right up and runs and drives well. The paint is showing its age and needs redoing as there is checking throughout. A solid and straight car with excellent door and panel fitment. The chrome is very acceptable and usable as-is. Nice clean usable interior. This 1953 Bentley R-Type Drophead is not to be overlooked by any true marque enthusiast.
