Motodrome offer this 1961 example of the ever-popular Land Rover Series II, this one an 88in soft top 2. 25 petrol model.
Fitted with: brand-new Exmoor Trim hood with rear side windows, twin rear benches meaning it can accommodate 7 (at a pinch), a matching set of 600x16 tyres, deluxe front seats, smiths heater, , mudflaps and towbar.
It still carries it’s original type sprung steering wheel, flat front panel, and deep modesty covers.
Fitted with a later (ex military Series III) 2. 25 petrol engine.
Last owner since 2003 and odometer reading 5000 miles – known incorrect and presumed to be 105000m
It looks really smart, and on test performed very well indeed.
