Reluctant sale of my Rapide prompted by advancing age. This bike is in excellent condition, having been maintained, regardless of expense, by an experienced Marque specialist. Has successfully completed the last two VOC International rallies, clocking up nearly 3000 trouble free miles, (barring a puncture), throughout France, Belgium, Germany and Austria earlier this year. In addition to engine rebuild with new bearings, pistons etc, all the gearbox internals were also replaced. Wheels rebuilt with stainless rims and spokes, with twin disc brakes up front. Now fitted with an electric start, 12volt alternator charging, flashing indicators and easy-lift centre stand, plus side stand, making this a very practical bike for every-day riding.
Bike can be sold with the standard front wheel, dynamo etc to restore to original specification if desired. This is not a 'matching numbers' bike (except for matching crankcase half numbers))but the frame and engine numbers are as shown on the DVLA V5C form and on the previous green log book, dating back to the '70's.
