MERCEDES-BENZ R129 SL320
Just arrived into stock is this fantastic value for money R129. Finished in Aquamarine blue metallic with a contrasting light grey leather interior. A very usable car that comes with mot until June 2020. There is an excellent service record showing regular maintenance right up to date.
The car is priced incredibly well allowing for the fact that it has a few minor cosmetics that need attention were you to want a perfect condition car. The front bumper has a few light marks in the paint but no damage and the numberplate holder has a crack in the top that would require replacement. All four alloys are still original and have never been refurbished so would require either re diamond cutting or powder coating due to oxidisation. There is a very shallow pointless dent in the boot lid and a few chips to the edge of the drivers door. It also has no rust in the sills or front wings as can quite often be found on this model.
It comes with both a factory hard top and a black convertible soft top - both of these are in excellent condition and the soft top rear windows are also free from cracks. The soft top has a dysfunctional control module which will require replacement . These are available readily @ £250 from any Mercedes parts specialist and a very easy fit.
The car also has an excellent quality interior free from any major damage save for some wear on the edge of the drivers seat. All the electrics work correctly with no obvious faults.
On test drive the cars drives very well indeed with no untoward noises or issues. The engine idles correctly and pulls nice and strong through all the gears.
