the van was factory built in 1963 so historic tax + mot by Kingscote + sttephen of Gloucester its a Cotswold series C model built on a Austin 152 (j2) chasise its powered by a 1500cc B series engine the head as been converted to run on unleaded petrol a SU carb has been fitted also electronic ignition anew starter the brakes have been overhauled new shoes/ cylinders/ pipes and a new sevo has been added even though drum brakes all round she stops really good a stainless exhaust very good tyres what is not new all other has been reconditioned ie radiator / petrol tank. The cab has been retrimmed also the rear living area which has standing room with a fold out toilet room plenty of storage a wardrobe cubard+draws a fridge full cooker only a cold water tap the sink looks cracked but has been sealed underneath so is water tight she sleeps two across the rear of the van it has a 60s style side awning it is 56 years old so a few nocks + blisters . l have another van l cannot see me using it too much next year so if you want to drive in the slow lane 60s style and be honked and pointed and stared at this is the one for you. some of the pictures are from last summer.
