RARE Classic JDM Celica Generation 5 - ST183 convertible auto - there are less than 35 of this model still on the road and probably less than 10 in this fine condition. Built August 1992 in USA by American Sunroof Corporation (ASC) in California, registered 1993 and cost £17, 000 (in excess of £39, 000 in todays money). Totally refurbished in 2006 - same family owner to date. One of only 300 in Blue Limited Edition and # 5970 off the ST183 convertible production line in California.

Paint taken back to bare metal, metal primed, subtle side-skirts blended in, three coats of two pack and five coats of clear lacquer.
Stainless steel bespoke exhaust front to rear, Gen 6 alloy road wheels, bespoke hand stitched Bridge of Weir leather seats , headrests imprinted with Toyota log and matching door panel inserts.

Hands free Bluetooth radio. Original Celica over mats, 4 Wheel steering sport/ normal all work correctly. Starts immediately. Has driven less than 7000 kms since 2006, this Show Car is kept in dry storage. Checked, driven a few miles and regular maintenance carried out.
Replaced hand stitched new soft top. Convertible mechanism operates correctly as do all electric windows and folding mirrors.
Opportunity to own a very rare convertible future JDM Classic, very few of these have survived and even fewer in this fine condition.

MOT valid until 1st September 2022 – The car is presently residing in Tyrone, Northern Ireland - due to the MOT system in place here the car cannot be tested until 24th January 2023 ( backlog due Covid-19) however, should the car have a serious buyer/ new owner it will be moved to mainland UK and a FULL 12 months MOT provided.

One advisory - slight oil leak - sump bolts tightened now no evidence at all.

10. New bottom coolant hose.
11. Soft top; cleaned, re-coloured in the correct dark blue and waterproofed.
12. New braided transmission cooler hoses.
13. Underside cleaned, loose corrosion (very little) removed, anti-rust treated and re-undersealed.
14. Both steering track rod ends replaced. Rubber steering rod gaiters replaced.
