RHD Datsun 160U 1976
This model, also known as Violet 710, is EXCLUSIVE from South Africa, produced in limited quantities. It's a sub-model of the famours 160J which would keep the most desirables extras available for the "J", making very rare and unite this series "U".
In terms of exterior is quite different from everything else with 4 doors while keeping a "coupe" body style. Mechanically is quite similar to a Datsun 510 Special, with a 1600cc engine with double body carburetor "Nikki". Drivetrain wise is similar to 510 SSS.
The car drives and is registered and kept in garage. The engine had a complete overall with all the essential parts changed. The suspension had a full overall with new springs, brand new shocks (front and rear) and all front bushings replaced. The interiors are in very good condition and the body has only minor rust that is normal from a car this old that is not restored.
This car was imported from South Africa from 1986 to Portugal.
P. S. The Hayashi wheels are not included in the deal, but can added to the deal also.
The car is at the moment in Portugal and can be seen in the Lisbon area. I'm selling it because I'm living abroad and I have another Datsun project to finish
