For sale is our beloved and now VERY rare Volvo 850 AWD All Wheel Drive Turbo estate.
These were a short run and sold in low numbers as a predecessor to the high selling Volvo V70R AWD.
Fitted with the model specific 2. 5L 20 valve LPT (Light Pressure Turbo) petrol 5-Cylinder engine, and 5-Speed manual gearbox and All Wheel drive 4x4 drivetrain - these were exceptionally capable cars!
Ours is the last known on-the-road 850 AWD in the UK, one or two MAY still be around in barns, however.
She has recently had over £1000 spent at a well recognised Volvo specialist here in Essex and is MOT'd until 1st May 2020.
Drives very well and is very reliable. Original towbar fitted, but we are near certain its never actually towed anything! Paintwork is very bright and has a good shine following a polish, but does have age-related marks/ small scratches and some of the usual laquer-lifting of Volvos of this age. She's not perfect, but presents well. Interior is very tidy and clean, odd age related mark here and there and the usual driver's seat outer bolster wear as pictured. Headlining is blesmishless.
Flaws:
Radio needs a code to work, which we dont have.
Heater blower fan has stopped working
Rear wiper motor has stopped
Driver's seat has the usual wear to the outer bolster.
Speedo has stopped 3yrs ago, but we have done less than 200 miles per year since 2016.

She can can made perfect and show-worthy with not much time or money, just some graft and knowledge of these solid, dependable and collectable 1990s Swedish estates.
