Extremley low mileage..
1994 E320 Convertible in the desirable Mercedes Silver with black leather interior. New black mohair hood. The hydraulic pistons for the convertible top have all been replaced and a new outer/ inner hood has been fitted. The Roof ECU has also been replaced at great expense (Total cost of roof£8000)
The main point of these cars is that they are a convertible, if the roof does not work then it is just a soft top. You will not find another car like this that has the entire roof replaced i. e. physical, electrical and hydraulics. There is also a brand new, unused wind deflector.
I have replaced both front wings. Original Mercedes 8 hole alloys, black leather interior, hands free telephone, new tyres, A/ C, E/ W, electric seats, tinted glass, zebrano dash. Long MOT, large service history file. The car has always passed the MOT without problem.
I have an extensive file of history. The speedo was changed two years ago and the mileage now shows 67000 however the true mileage is approx 90, 000. The car was originally supplied new in Hong Kong and imported to the UK July 2002, at this time the odometer reading was 87493 Km's or 57493 miles. The car then had a replacement speedo change to miles per hour, this speedo did not match the correct mileage of the car at that time. I have all the bills and receipts for the car plus old MOT's recording the annual mileage of the car. The total mileage for the car since new is a remarkable 88410 miles.
The car has been well cared for and is rust free with an excellent interior showing no signs of hard use apart from drivers seat bolster which has slight wear.. I have owned this car for the past ten years and have taken it on many trips through France and Ireland where it performed faultlessly.
I had intended keeping this car indefinitely though lately I rarely do more than 1000 miles a year. Due to the ULEZ regulations the car is now on a SORN and is secure storage.
The seatbelt butlers are a bit erratic,
The A/ C needs recharging
The heater element is noisy (I have replacement blower motor)
The car is fitted with an expensive after market, bespoke infinity/ Harmon Kardon sound system.
Recent maintenance: New Radiator and hoses, coolant flush and top up. New Valve Cover gasket fitted/ Oil Change. 12 months MOT no advisories. Now on SORN in West London.
