Welcome to the sale of this rare Rover Montego Countryman 2. 0 Turbo Diesel.
It has been stored for the last 10 years in a barn.
We have changed fuel and put a battery on and it starts, runs, has clutch, gears, brakes (bit soft) and everything seems to work - electric windows, central locking, electric sunroof, mirrors etc.
7 seat model - very few left - probably less than 10 on the road.
1 previous owner - last since 1993 - was a dealer registered car.
We have the keys, logbook, handbooks and service history etc.
It does need some TLC - sills were done before being parked up and paint work after wasnt great - the arches have surface rust as does boot corner. If you can do bodywork then it could be a real modern classic.
It does start but is smoking under revs - probably needs a good service and. or drive. It does have all the owners handbooks and service history along with spare keys.
Interior is good and complete.
TO BE CLEAR IT IS A PROJECT CAR BUT WE THINK NOT ROTTEN SO WORTH SAVING!
