Immaculate Fully Rebuilt 2018 Brabus G65 AMG Replica Mercedes G Class Wagon (1989 300GD LWB)
This is possibly the best example of a Mercedes G Wagen on the market for four reasons. Those reasons are that this example is in an immaculate, near show condition, completely restored and rebuilt (by renowned companies) example replicating one of the latest £150-200, 000 models, the 2018 Brabus Mercedes G65 AMG. Not only is her interior and exterior finished to the highest standard, but her 300GD engine has been completely rebuilt by Mercedes. This is a vehicle with a fantastic history that has been completely re-finished to the highest standard. I will expand on each reason in turn and provide links to videos and extra photographs throughout this description for your viewing, before then discussing the two relatively minor areas where we might improve her.
1. Immaculate Show Condition
Having just been rebuilt and restored and finished to the highest standard, expect a near immaculate vehicle in show winning condition.
2. Rebuilt & Restored
Rebuilding her included rebuilding her engine (Mercedes rebuild), bodywork and interior.
A. Mercedes Rebuilt Engine (300GD)
Having benefitted from a £6000 engine rebuild (invoiced, see picture 12) with Mercedes just 11, 700 miles ago, her 300GD engine drives perfectly. Mercedes also fitted a new clutch kit and starter motor, amongst other parts and accordingly her gearbox is perfect.
B. The 2018 Brabus G65
Replicating the 2018 Brabus G65 AMG, her bodywork looks every bit a £150, 000-200, 000 vehicle.
C. Immaculate Paintwork
Having her Metallic Mercedes Obsidian Black paintwork finished by a most reputable painter whom has painted some very special and famous vehicles, expect near perfection. D. Completely Re-trimmed Diamond Stitch Interior
Being completely refinished in Leather and Diamond Stitch Alcantara against Piano Black panels by a interior re-trimmig company whom service both Ferrari and Bentley dealerships, she is finished to the highest quality and she has seven seats (two in the boot), inbuilt TV’s (connected via HDMI or USB) and a bluetooth sound system. F. Solid & Clean Underneath
Remarkably she is totally solid and clean underneath, with no corrosion and she has been correctly undersealed.
Accordingly, expect a near immaculate vehicle finished to a show winning standard inside, outside and one that is mechanically perfect.
3. Built by a Reputable Builder for Himself
Having been rebuilt by the owner of a specialist vehicle builder known for building many famous vehicles and high quality replicas with the intention of using it himself, expect her to be finished to a very high standard.
4. History
This vehicle has a fantastic history folder:
A. Previous Keepers
Having such a low amount of previous keepers, her previous keeper owned her for 17 years, purchasing her in 2003 from a Mr Jimmy James of London (Jimmy James and the Vagabonds?) and there was just two previous keepers before Jimmy James.
B. Maintenance
Being sold with two large history folders documenting an extraordinary amount of love and maintenance supplied to this vehicle right from new, everything has been saved. She has 39 Mercedes parts / service receipts, her original service book, 18 MOT slips, the original Mercedes sales books, two logbooks and over a hundred other receipts from other suppliers.
C. HPI
This vehicle is HPI clear and has never been involved in an accident.
D. Mileage
Her total mileage is 130, 070 miles, as warranted by her history folder. Her engine has done just 11, 700 miles since it was completely rebuilt by Mercedes. Since being rebuilt and restored she has done only a few thousand miles.
Accordingly, you can be sure that this vehicle has been a very much loved and looked after vehicle.
5. Other Details
She comes with 12 months MOT. Everything works perfectly. She has an immobiliser system with two immobilisers. Her mirrors fold inwards when locked. She starts on a start-up button.

Some Small Changes We Would Make
Being nearly immaculate there are only two small changes we would make, both will be easily solved, either by ourselves, or yourself if you are in a rush:
A. Start-up Button
Opening her doors you will notice her start-up button glows blue, matching her Brabus foot plate light up branding. When you press her start-up button once (with her brake pedal pressed) once her then electrics turn on, twice and she fires. However, the start-up button doesn’t put too much effort into each start, turning the engine for maybe half a second per press, and accordingly it can take three pushes of such button to start her from cold. The builder advises me that I am doing this wrong, however I personally would use the key to start her and skip this system, the original key ignition being located behind the dash.
B. Exhaust Pipe
Being the only advisory on her MOT completed last week (the MOT inspector noted that she was built to an extraordinary standard), her exhaust is currently blowing due to a failed exhaust flexi-pipe near the side exhaust end. We will replace this, but we are waiting for the part currently.
