Selling my SUZUKI INTRUDER VL 125 1999. LOW MILEAGE. 7000 miles. Beautiful reliable bike, I’ve had it for 2 years and never had a problem. Asking price £2500. Based in Wolverhampton.
It is the perfect learner bike as it doesn’t look like the usual 125’s on the market. V-twin engine, 140kg, low rider with seat height 685mm, 12L tank.
I’m also willing to include my rear luggage bag, Oxford monster chain and bike cover as well as other maintenance essentials if you’re interested.
Good bits:
- [ ] Valid MOT
- [ ] New sprockets and chain (about 500 miles on them)
- [ ] New front brake discs (about 200 miles)
- [ ] Engine oil and filter has been replaced (about 200 miles)
- [ ] Brake fluid has been changed (about 200 miles)
- [ ] New inner tube on rear wheel (30miles on it)
- [ ] £150 top box included that is wired up to the brakes giving added visibility and safety
- [ ] Large under-seat storage
- [ ] Gave the chain and sprocket a good clean off the bike
- [ ] Plenty of life left in the rear brake shoe. has been taken apart and checked
- [ ] Has an electrical start and the throttle control (choke) for the colder day’s- has always started first time with no problems.
- [ ] Has pressure sensitive wheel caps on front and rear wheels to automatically alert you of low tyre pressure - shown in picture.
- [ ] Has old tax disc on (easily removed)
Not so good bits:
- [ ] Theres some rusting on the chrome-mainly on the exhaust as shown
- [ ] A few scratches where the bike has been dropped but all on easily replaceable parts-all shown in pictures.
- [ ] Front brakes are squeaking as I didn’t add any anti-squeal lubricant when I changed the pads
- [ ] A few scratches on the brake reservoir cap
