Malaguti Firefox F15 50cc scooter two stroke engine water cooled, i bought this ped new unregistered in 2001 from a Crewe Peugeot main dealer, i did not want it registered at the time and wanted to keep it that way due to its one off special paintwork, the story i bought with the bike was the paint was done for jcb to promote their PPE safety clothing and footwear etc, i was also informed it was featured in JCB's catalogues with a male model sat on it fully dressed in a safety helmet, work clothes and boots, not long after i bought it i contacted JCB sales team in Stoke to verify the above was true, best i could get was staff remembered it being in the factory but could not get any written evidence, over the years i have looked on occasions for another scooter in these colours and for a catalogue but not had any success so i cannot prove the story.
The scooter has been covered with sheets and stored in a very good garage and has not deteriorated in any way at all, i have started it about three/ four times a year to keep the oils around the engine, however i have now decided to move it on due to my age and lack of interest in it, it starts first press on the button and rides as a new 2022 ped would do it also has a kick start, the mileage is correct at 9 miles this was a ride up and down the road and the journey to the MOT station, this is a unique opportunity to purchase an interesting collectable attractive little scooter, it would stand out in any sales showroom or reception, or it is a new 2001 50cc scooter ready for the road, the history file has all the original documents purchase receipt, manuals, two sets of keys, copies of all paperwork for the registration.
