For reluctant sale is my stunning and very rare Willow Gold over Dark Brown hide Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow 2. This car had the expensive optional bespoke leather piping in matching Willow Gold and the Dark Brown colour matched hide around the instrument board roll, under dash trim and radio surround. Most have the Black Ambia in these places. This is one of the loveliest most genuine SS2s I managed to find which has recently benefitted from a full restoration respray by D&B Coachworks in Surrey. I have before, during and after pictures, the paint was a bit faded and it had a few annoying dents, a couple of scabs on the front wings and a carphone aerial hanging out of the back wing which I hated. The car was completely stripped (except front and rear glass), and resprayed professionally including inside the door shuts. I then had the RR guy to handpaint on the dark brown double stripe as per the original buildsheet. Despite being tax and MOT exempt I put the car in for an MOT just to be sure, and it passed without any advisories with the inspector commenting what a great example it is.

It's very rare to find a SS2 in this colour and condition, reluctantly she is for sale. Recently completed a journey frrom London to Goodwood and back with ease and totally without fault.
Without doubt these are future investments and are only going one way. Similar cars are for sale online starting with a late 2 that have had less investment in them. This car has been cared for and treasured its whole life and it really shows.
