Very reluctant sale of my Lotus Elise Sport 160 due to knee injury, number 9 of the original 50 limited edition SVA cars that has the full 160bhp.
Only 3 previous owners (although technically the first was the dealership), with a full service history and a folder of receipts, old MOT’s etc.
During my ownership I have replaced/ fitted the following:
Complete suspension rebuild – powder coated all wishbones, replaced all bushes, bolts etc with new and fitted Bilstein S2 suspension (original available). In addition, I also fitted the Spitfire uprated toe link kit (highly recommended) while also replacing all 4 wheel bearings
Refurbished anti roll bar and fitted new bushes
Fitted EliseParts quick rack (original standard rack available and in good order)
New Exedy Clutch and lightened Flywheel balanced and fitted with new clutch slave cyclinder and support bracket
Steel cage diff bearings fitted
Fitted S2 Probax seats (original Sport 160 seats in red available) and a new Yassa battery
New idle control valve, engine temperature sensor, Lambda sensor, distributor cap and arm
Had all brakes refurbished and fitted uprated brake hoses
Fitted Ferodo DS2500 pads – front and rear and replaced brake fluid with ATE Super Racing
The previous owner also fitted new Yokohama AD08R tyres prior to me purchasing the car which have very little wear having only covered a few thousand miles. The car also comes with an after market stainless steel exhaust – I believe this to be a Janspeed model - it sounds great!
The body work has the some chips to the front clam and it has some micro blistering to the engine cover but it is in otherwise excellent condition.
The current mileage is just over 58k miles, it comes with a MOT till Oct 2020 although I am happy to put on a new one if required.
The complete owners’ pack is present along with two key sets, most previous MOT certificates and a substantial portfolio of service invoices. Any inspection is warmly welcomed.
