What you see here my friends is a Lovely 1970 Triumph TR6 Sled.
I’ve built a few of these, all different, this one came in from the USA as most do.
A Matching Numbers bike ( with Club Certification ), last of the Oil in Tank models, it’s had the front forks rebuilt with new stanchions, seals and bushes, new tyres and tubes, many other new parts such as cables and so on, serviced and set up, it’s a treat to ride and purrs like a kitten, it’s Also fitted with an original Corbin leather seat, which is pretty cool, a set of Flat Track pipes sound gorgeous, not as loud as sled pipes, which makes for a more neighbour friendly bike.
It is fully road legal, you do not need lights by law, ( of course you can fit them if you wish quite simply as all is working, would just need wiring in, but if you NEED lights, me, i'd fit modern pushbike ones ifI did it! ) it has a working horn ( original )
I have purposely not tried to polish or shine anything on this bike, it is exactly the look I was after, but if you are a shiny type of person, a weekend with the solvol polish will have the engine shining bright as a button.
Engine is pretty much oil tight. it is rattle & smoke free, see video.
The bike is not UK registered, but will come with ALL the paper work needed, filled in by myself ready to send to the DVLA to get her registered in your name.
All taxes and duties are paid, you will simply need to insure it and put your name and address on the supplied paper work and pop it in the post, it will then come back with a Age Related registration number in your name as the first UK owner.
