EXTERIOR:
The coachwork of this 1998 example was optioned in the highly unusual & desired 'Amber Red' metallic (548) & is presented in an untouched condition throughout & presents well saving from some localised laquer blemishes. The SLK's party trick 'Vario' power roof is in full operation, turning a snug winter ready coupe into a roadster at the push of a button.
INTERIOR:
Factory built with the contrasting Black leather upholstery (221A) & carbon fibre design facias. The interior has been very well protected by fitted coverings since new. The whole cabin interior remains in an excellent order
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION:
Powered by the bullet-proof 'M111' inline four cylinder 2295cc supercharged petrol engine producing 193hp & mated to the five speed automatic transmission - offering blistering performance. On our workshops test drive, this SLK started without issue, ran perfectly & drives like she is on rails! The engine bay area is very original, completely untouched.
HISTORY FILE:
Registered on 2nd Novemeber 1998 & supplied via 'Mercedes Benz Great West Road' Main Dealership in Brentford.
Serviced by Mercedes Benz Main Dealerships until 57k miles, then local garage maintained right up to 98k miles. Current mileage is exactly 100k. MoT certificates dating back to 2011. In total there are twelve stamped service entries which equates to a completely full service booklet!
Owned by a local professional gentleman for the past seven years & she has been reluctantly sold due to a lack of spare time to enjoy!
