Launched in April 1961, this very early Triumph Herald 1200 is a very original example that will require a basic recommission before use.
It runs and drives very well and the 1147cc engine has always started on the first turn of the key.
The duotone body is finished in Sebring white over Powder blue, with phantom grey interior.
The Triumph has only had 3 registered owners in its current V5 document.
It is registered historic, therefore benefits from tax and MOT exemption.
The last registered owner in the V5 has owned the classic since November 2005.
Throughout the gentleman's ownership, the 1200 has spent most of its time in dry storage.
The last MOT, registered on the VOSA online system, expired 2006 at 61, 807 miles with no advisories.
The vehicle milometer is now only reading 61, 821, meaning that it has covered less than 20 miles in that time.
The Triumph has front seat belts and spare wheel.
