For sale is our lovely 1995 Volvo 460 GLT Saloon. These are effectlvely the higher selling 440 model, but with a larger boot rather than a hatchback.
GLT being the performance pack, with electrical options plus powerful 2L engine and lower "sports" suspension. This car is one of just THREE GLTs left on the UK roads. Very very rare!!!
She is in lovely condition for what is now very much a Classic Car at over 25yrs old. I have it insured on a Classic Car insurance policy for £75 per year!
Bodywork is bright and well waxed. It's colour is called "Silver Dawn Metalic", which is very rare on these models, It's a light metalic Silver with a hint of Beige in it. There are the odd mark, small scuff here and there, but nothing that detracts from the cars overall excellent and well cared for condition. There has been a repair to the nearside wheel arch that is visible and the nearside roof rail appearance could do with improving in order to be perfect. Picture included,
After a thorough recent renovation and full service this month, the car has flown through it's MOT last week so comes with a full 12months worth. This car is one of the best driving Volvos I've ever owned. Very smooth manual gearbox, VERY Powerful and torquey 2. 0L engine with great handling, This is very much a drive anywhere Classic Car. Even if you live 500miles away - don't consider a trailer home, please drive it! Extremely frugal due to its great aerodynamics means regular motorway miles per gallon at over 40mpg.
Full Clear HPi report comes printed with the car. No accidents of write off ever, No finance owed on it, obivously.
Interior is in excellent condition, no rips tears or marks. Pedals and steering wheel are hardly worn. Has a CD/ MP3 player with AUX front input for phones. Rear compartment has USB charging ports behind the central armrest. Has had rear parking sensors professionally fitted a few years ago and these work very well. The "Information Center Computer" and all dials and gauges have been fully restored and are now working brilliantly, The odometer has not been working for a short while, but is now rolling over correctly following the renovation and repair.
Included with the car is its original sales and service folder with orignal hand books and brochures. There are Volvo invoices and some history with the car too. A Haynes service manual will also go be with it, along with some spares and useful parts in the boot.
Service just carried out including: Brand new tyres, air filter, oil filter, oil, spark plugs, all light bulbs, brake pads, brake fluid, engine coolant. Also brand new quality Timing Belt, Tensioner and Water Pump.
Car has been well looked after and has recently had a lot of money and time spent on bringing it's standard back up.
