This is an incredibly well-designed and thought-out restoration of the classic Beetle, giving it a really cool look and individual appearance.
The recent bottom up restoration was carried out by Flatlands Engineering in Norfolk famed for producing VW Beach Buggies and for thoses that are familiar with them will appreciate that they really know how to put a vehicle together. Like any good restoration, the underside is finished in an immaculate coat of gloss black and all the parts are powder coated to match in what is a ‘complete build’. Words cannot describe how good this car is and it really needs to be seen to appreciate the detail, care and the quality traditional touches that it has retained. It is like no other Beetle we have seen and is definitely a showroom favourite from passers-by.
It’s last owner was a VW collector, enthusiast and specialist car detailer who used it on a sunny weekends and even had seat belts fitted in the back for his children. Eventually he built up such a collection that something had to go and we were then given the opportunity to own a car that we had admired for a long time.
It is a classic beetle, that can be driven and enjoyed and will always look super cool!
