A brief history...
The car was originally supplied by Charles Sidney Mercedes Benz dealership in Harrogate on 30th July 1999 to a lady from Hull. She owned the car until she stopped driving, having only used the car for very short trips and very infrequently. The car came with a number of additional factory options as can be seen on the original data sheet in the photographs. At the time of purchase the car cost £35, 383. 41 as can be verified by the original bill of sale included in this sale.
I purchased the car on 22nd January 2016 at which time it had recorded just 2619 miles. As can be seen, the car has had minimal use during my ownership.
The car has full Mercedes Benz service history commensurate with the mileage and usage.

As you would expect for a car that has covered so small a mileage and having been correctly stored the car is simply as new. Unmarked “Brilliant Silver” factory paintwork. The underside of the SLK is equally spotless, with all factory inspection paint markings clearly evident. Beautiful, unmarked AMG alloys supplied from new as a optional extra are fitted with the original factory fitted Michelin Pilot SX tyres, which incredibly are like new. The original exhaust is still in place and in superb condition. Under the bonnet all castings are still bright, looking as good as the day the car left the factory. The car has its factory fitted AMG alloys which are completely unmarked. The interior looks like it has never been sat in. Comes with both keys which are still on original Charles Sidney key rings.
In summary this car is as good as the day it left the factory. Everything as you would expect still feels tight and as new.
