We are delighted to present for sale this very recently restored Land Rover® Series 2a. The restoration has been done to a high standard throughout, with a large amount of new parts fitted. One can see from the freshness of the galvanising chassis underneath that this vehicle has not been rebuilt for a long period of time.
The list of new parts is very long (given to us by the previous keeper) and includes:

This is not an exhaustive list – it is done to demonstrate the level of detail that has been carried out by the previous owner. We believe all of this leads to a very handsome vintage truck, both on top and underneath.
The interior houses a set of recent standard front seats, with deluxe matting to the footwells. The rear is unfitted, but for £350 could house bench seats on request to enable 7 seated including the driver.
Out on the road, the rebuild has made this Series a real pleasure to drive – everything feels tight, and the petrol engine pulls sweetly to speed. It delivers a pleasing period drive, and performs as one would expect. The brakes are sharp too, thanks to the new parts fitted.
In summary, if you are looking for a rebuilt Series Land Rover® we believe this to be a solid purchasing choice retailing for almost £12-15k less than a new rebuild. This is therefore a great option to get a similar vehicle to get a parallel vehicle to one of our concourse rebuilds at a much reduced price.
