Reluctant sale of 2 seater Honda CRX Del Sol VTEC Sir convertible (Japanese import). Extremely reliable with 10 months MOT. Owned by wife for 22 years (since it was imported) and well looked after during this time.
Everything works as it should except for the transtop roof, which has become temperamental. (It very often gets stuck when the slider forks are fully inserted into the roof. (I suspect servicing the slider unit would fix this. Happy to give more detail on request)
This car has Honda's famous B16A engine, which people describe as “bullet proof” and a “pocket rocket”. It is a very good engine and delivers a surprisingly good fuel economy of 36mpg.
Bad points are rusting rear wheel arches and paint lacquer is peeling off on some panels.
History:
Imported to the UK in October 1998.
Bought April 1999, when purchased was 58954km (36632 miles).
