For Sale is my BMW Alpina B3 3. 3 Cabrio No. 118 finished in BMW Individual Scarab Green with Beige Leather. An original example, well looked after, stamped service book (mixture of BMW main dealer and specialist stamps) and folder with invoices of work carried out to date.
80, 169 miles from new. This car is in amazing condition mechanically, well cared for and the list of work detailed below substantiates this.
This car had 4 owners in its early life (up to roughly 30, 000 miles) however the 5th owner kept this car for 9 years and the 6th owner kept this car for 5 years. I am the 7th owner.
Recently serviced at a BMW Specialist where an Inspection 2 Service was carried out. In addition the brake fluid was replaced plus the rear brake pads.
Original BMW Rear coil springs replaced in April 2021.
Front lower arm rear bushes replaced in Feb 2021.
In September 2020 - the hydro pump unit was replaced at 'The Hood Guys' in Birmingham. The electric roof works correctly.
At 75, 000 miles (June 2017) the following work was completed at same BMW Specialist:
- Genuine Alpina Front Wishbones and Shock Absorbers (including mounts, bump stops and shrouds).
- New trailing arm bushes
- New rear camber adjuster bolts/ washers
- Full wheel alignment
Alternator replaced in November 2016 and at same time the tensioner kit, idler roller and drive belts were replaced at same BMW Specialist.
Refurbished Alpina alloy wheels wearing good Bridgestone tyres all around.
The BMW Individual Scarab Green is in great condition with the car retaining its original paint apart from the drivers side wing which was replaced by the previous owner. The rest of the bodywork presents well, the paint has a deep shine. However, the car does have one spot at the bottom of the rear boot lid where there is a rust bubble spot - a common fault on the E46.
The interior is in good condition but the drivers seat does show signs of wear. A full interior deep clean and valet was professionally carried out earlier this summer.
This car is in great condition mechanically and only the rear boot lid bubbling plus seat wear require attention cosmetically to make this car immaculate.
I have purchased another classic BMW Convertible hence I have decided to offer this car for sale. Good money has been spent on this car in recent months hence I have priced this accordingly at £10500 - however, I am open to sensible offers.
