R1150RS BMW, ULEZ and Congestion Charge exempt (documented proof supplied). Fitted with replacement rear shock absorber, battery, higher rise handle bars, heated grips and volt meter, BMW rear carrier with pannier rails plus an after market silencer.
The engine oil, oil filter, air filter plus spark plugs all replaced within the last 300 miles, the tyres, brake pads, brake discs have plenty of life left in them with the servo assisted ABS working fine. When Mot'd the tester asked if the mileage was correct as given the bikes overall condition he wondered if recorded mileage was in Klms (i. e around 66000 miles). The pictures show the low level fuel light on and both ABS lights working prior to an engine start, the next picture shows ABS lamps off once the bike has been started and moving, with more than an approximate 5 lts of petrol in the tank the low level fuel light extinguishes.
To my knowledge the only thing not functioning is the RID as it fails to display oil temp and fuel level LED readouts, these Rider Information Displays were an optional extra and a known fault was a bad earth connection so possibly the reason its not displaying.
If your a newcomer to BM's the mileage may seem a little high at 114300 although some would claim its only just run in, realistically its an average of less than 6000 miles per year and its in excellent condition given the age, if the next owner continues to carry out BMW's recommended maintenance tasks at the advised intervals the bike will continue to give many more years and miles of reliable service.
I'm selling because although the seat height is adjustable I find the riding position just doesn't suit, the original BMW handle bars are available and it now has a full 12 months Mot.
Any inspection is invited but social distancing precautions should be observed, the bike is now SORN declared, is sold with no guarantee implied or given and any test ride would only be agreed provided proof of insurance is proven and the agreed sale amount in cash has been left as security.
