One of the 1200 alfa 164 q4 produced , and one of the few sold in italy, where this version was penalized with a vert expensive "4x4" tax.
this 164 had only one owner! , an business woman from firenzuola d'arda (piacenza) who used the car until 2008, when the registration was cancelled.
then the car was stored in garage , and in fact its really in clean condition without any rust and impeccable undercarriage.
we bought the car in 2019 directly from this woman.
the paint showed some defects on the transparent coat , and we decided make a complete high quality paint job, unmounting all windows and parts , taking care of every finition details.
the result is a showroom car, really superb with his elegant color "rosso proteo", color exclusive for this version when it was launched.
the "speedline" wheels received a complete restoration too in specialist and a new set of "michelin" high performance tires.
interior show a nice preserve condition, without defects or unusual wear.
the leather is very nice on seats and panels, as well the dashboard and moquette. The headlining is not fallen.
technically the car received an extensive service after years of storage; Timing belt, water and fuel pump, new clutch , brakes , injectors review , new end exhaust and a very long list of details.
all electric services were checked by alfa romeo workshop and the clima lcd was replaced (typical 164 defect).
a masterpiece designed by pininfarina, with the legendary v6 busso engine and a very sophisticated 4wd developed by "steyr puch","getrag" 6 speed gearbox and "boge" electronic suspension... the 164 q4 was a showcase with the best alfa romeo technology of the moment, and an instant classic since his birth.
