Description
The Berlin Fair held in february 1936 served as the stage for the first presentation of the Mercedes 170 V. Compared to it´s ancestor, the six cylinder 170, the new car may have been less ambitious, but it went on to become a remarkable success. In fact the 170 V was the most produced Mercedes of it´s days. Several kinds of coachwork have been available, thanks to the use of the tubular chassis.
Our Mercedes-Benz 170 V Tourer was in a small collection of a Mercedes enthusiast for decades. It was completely restored many years ago and the engine was overhauled in 2012. The current owner has driven it little, but regularly. The popular body variant can be used in a variety of ways and sparks a lot of joy.
