SALMSON GSC 1927
This Salmson with chassis No. 426 was manufactured in French Billancourt in 1927. It was first registered in London, by the then agent S. M. S. Ltd Church Wharf. Its ownership history m. m. is described in Donald L. Hill’s complete Salmson Registers 1921-1930.
It has been in my possession for over 40 years and has been on wheels and used throughout my ownership.
Of the Salmson Grand Sport Course, 1926-1929, only 21 were manufactured as ”back up” for the factory’s racing cars. 426 has a cross flow, twin cam engine made by Salmson and 4-speed gearbox. The car’s original reg. signplates and Registration Book etc. documents remain.
This is an opportunity to acquire a charming little french from la belle epoque, as the cars would be beautiful and for fun and adventure.
