First manufactured in 1986 on an “C” registration, UK registered in 1996 with 8 previous owners

This lovely early DT 200 LC has been subject to a complete restoration taking many hours, I have spent well over £2, 300 on new parts and services. These Yamaha’s still do not look dated, even on a bike which is now 35 years old.
In brief the bike has had;
Powder coated frame, swingarm, rear frame, top yoke, rear brake plate, handle bars, footpegs, and various brackets
Bodywork painted with new decal kit
Engine checked and refurbished. Crank rebuilt, rebore and Mitaka piston
Rebuilt 2 stroke oil pump
New carburettor
New air filter
New fork seals and fork gaitors
New Michelin Anakee Wild tyres
New chain guide
New gold DID chain and sprockets
New chain tensioner rollers
New swingarm bush kit
New battery
New rear mudguard

A really lovely bike in stunning overall condition, currently SORN and now ready to be ridden and enjoyed. I have tried to keep the bike to its original spec and visual appearance. Sounds very quiet and revs cleanly. A USB of photographs will come with the bike showing restoration process.
Interest in the DT LC’s is increasing, with the DT200 being particularly rare coming up for sale, values continuing to rise. Such a nice early example will be a great addition to any Yamaha enthusiast’s collection.
