Unfortunately due to lack of space I find it necessary to thin out my collection of Beetles.
1972 model. Very original and unmolested. 1300cc. It has no rust issues but it is 50 years old so please allow for that. Mileage is an approximation as no way of knowing. This is a good vehicle and could be used as a daily driver. Since then it has been in storage mainly.
I purchased it last year to "Rat" it. All that needs doing is to lower suspension and apply whatever paint finish you want. Of course you could keep it stock height and just repaint.
The chassis is completely solid and has extra strength form steel bearers welded on lengthwise. Engine runs well. Interior is excellent.
You need to view this really to appreciate how good all the important structural stuff is. Chassis and running gear, engine etc could be used for a replica Porsche or similar. Just bolt body on.
I love this Beetle but no time to do the work! A great buy for a Rat, not the usual ragged bumpy example.
