Description
The Volvo 142 was used in Scandinavian rallies from 67 to around 78 on international and National rallies . I would think all of the Finnish , Swedish and Norwegian rally drivers have driven this car in their formative years .
There were hundreds of 142 competing every weekend .
There is therefore a wealth of experience with these cars , this has been built into this car
that is still used in National rallies and Historic rallies to this day.
A very strong , easy to drive, rally car , excellent brakes , very strong drive chain
No special parts , Volvo original parts are used for everything
This car is built as an endurance rally car and not a road car with a roll cage .
Built for P2P and suitable for other rallies .
Suspension built to Volvo Safari specifications with modern competition Bilstein shock absorbers and not B4 road shock absorbers!
Rear suspension and rear end are from a Volvo 240 turbo , stronger and parts are readily available..

Everything in the front/ rear suspension and rear axle are new .
Engine . 2000 cc on 45 Italian Webers 135 bhp . Good torque .

The radiator has a steel mechanical fan and an electrically controlled fan for safety and extra cooling!
2, 5” exhaust with one big silencer , skidded .
Gearbox M46 with overdrive is new and comes from a 240 Turbo , all sensors etc are also new. The weak middle section has been replaced by a new stronger section, eliminating the weak point.
New F&S clutch from the 240 Turbo.
2 new Sparco seats , 6 point seat belts .
Full roll cage
2 Bosch 225 extra lights
Ca 70 litres new fuel tank , with 2 pumps and 5 filters, everything is new.
Pumps have separate wiring , with separate fuse and switches .
Brakes are all Volvo from the 164 , ventilated front , solid rears.
Sump guard is a copy of Volvo R competition drawings . 12 mm thick .
5 new tires on 6x15 steel Volvo 940 wheels
Car has only done 500 km in testing.
