I am the second owner of this car. It is my pride and joy. It is a very beautiful example of the original Forester with very low milage. I use the car as a family vehicle for camping tips and weekend journeys. It has always been well looked after. The only reason I am selling is due to the new ULEZ restrictions on cars in London. I have been maintaining and treating the car as a ‘forever’ treasure, but can’t justify the ULEZ fee every-time I make a journey, hence the reason for selling.
I have had lots of maintenance work as the original owner left the car sitting for a number of years. The rear has been completely rebuilt by a Subaru specialist (JEM Service Department Hyde Estate Road London NW9 6JX) back in 2018. At this time the timing belt was changed and a major service was undertaken. The car drives well. A wolf in sheep’s clothing!
The car is 100% original and has never been painted, crashed or damaged. There is a small area of rust on one of the rear wheel arches, I could fix this small area but want to be transparent so the new owner can see). The fuel gage is a bit intermittent.
The car is in stunning condition for its age and drives spot on as it should. Lots of service invoices and MOT’s
