I have owned and cared for this car for the past 12 years. It was previously owned by Steve Bainbridge, proprietor of Mainly Minors based in Twyning, so I have known the car for over 20 years in all.
Steve made the car work in modern traffic by fitting a 1098 engine, gearbox, rear axle and braking system. I added a servo and electronic ignition to help things along.
The car has been a long term summer user, always garaged, always kept up to scratch. It is not a trailer queen. I wanted a 70 year old car to look its age but having said that it is not rusty and it has had minimal welding done ( six inches as far as I am aware) It is reliable and it goes, stops and steers as it should.
If you are looking for a reliable older car that hasn't been brought up to better than new condition, a car with a bit of character that wont let you down, then this might be worth a look.
I have priced the car fairly since I don't need to profit from the sale and I don't want to lose out.
