Minor revisions were forthcoming for the 1972 Bonneville that included reducing the seat height by an inch and a half, conical hubs front and rear and the 1972 colour scheme was Tiger Gold over Cold White. The main and most important change was the option of a five speed Quaife gearbox. Bikes with this gearbox had a ‘V’ after the model designation as this bike has - 120RV.
The owner has said the bike was imported from the USA in 2020 and he has no reason to doubt that the mileage is not genuine at 14, 000 miles. The owner says the bike is running very well and describes the engine, chassis, bodywork, transmission and electrics as all good and the paintwork and chrome as fair which the new owner could refresh or just use and enjoy it as is.
Comes with – a current V5C and the American Wisconsin Certificate of Title.
