I have for sale my cavalier sri 130 4 door saloon in black 1988 E reg showing 67000 miles owned for 5 years a original example.
Last mot expired in 2019 and was taken off road since then as i had intention to do a full restoration.
In my ownership i had serviced the car with many new parts fitted, it had new radiator and new hoses new antifreeze plugs cap rotary arm leads fan switch expansion bottle, air intake pipe and also new cambelt fan belt waterpump changed same time.
Interior is good slight wear on drivers bolster carpets are good headlining is good aswell.
Mechanical all sound engine is great gearbox all in good working order, starts and drives 20seh engine known as very reliable.
I have loads of paperwork previous mots tax discs service history invoices by vauxhall dealership by previous owners, i have also kept recent receipts of parts i had fitted in my ownership.
The car would benefit from a restoration to make it look concourse, definitely need some welding to the front floor and rear seat floor area, there are small rust holes i had noticed when i had all the sound deadening taken off from the floor area. Also noticed rust at the osr boot pocket and the nsr sill is corroded, the outside sunroof area has surface rust bubbles showing and to the front screen and rear screen outside is bubbling, Brakes will need looking at as their very low need of attention as been stood since last mot expired.
This is a rare opportunity as these cars are getting very rare to find and only going up in value in near future.
Due to change of my circumstances i cannot finish this project so i am happy to offer to some one who will have time to do the restoration work.
Please remember this is a 33 year old car and selling as a restoration project although it still comes out great after a wash, some spares i will let go with the car to help with the restoration.
I have the full v5 and all the history paperwork hpi clear.
Recommended to have it trailer tow truck recovery due to no mot tax and brakes needed attention.
