Welcome to the sale of my 95 M reg Corrado VR6 in satin silver - which i would consider a less common and desirable colour amongst the other remaining Corrado’s out there.

Summary
This is a very original VW Corrado, even the suspension and ride height is standard and surprising firm, accurate and dependable - it reminds me of a proper cruiser with the VR6 power to boot. The car stops, steers and drives as it should without hesitation.
Condition bodywork
Ideally, It needs a strip down and paint however generally it is a very solid with no crash damage or evidence of rot underneath. The sills and arches all appear to be solid. There are spots of surface rust here and there, the drivers side door, around the windscreen and bonnet are probably the worst affected areas however these are all superficial and can be rectified by any skilled body and paint specialist.
Engine
It can be a bit grumpy when starting from cold but once warmed up it drives perfectly, with no chain rattle. I drove it 350 miles from Northampton to Glasgow and it didn’t miss a beat and used zero fluids. However, I would recommend a full service with a stamp to get it running 100%.
I have no evidence to suggest that the chains have been done.

Refurbished Solitudes with 4 new continental contact 2 tyres.
Interior
Black cloth interior in a very presentable condition considering the mileage.
The head lining is in excellent condition.
Reason for sale
Too many personal commitments including starting a new job away from home and having a new born baby have led to my decision to part with it; It’s just too much work at the moment considering my circumstances.
Overall thoughts
It’s a good and complete base model with all the moving parts working as they should. Investment wise the only way is up with these and of course, if I had the time and resources I would love do the work myself as I originally intended. I am very passionate about my VW’s having owned many over the years. There is definitely an opportunity here to use this Corrado VR6 as an investment opportunity or to enjoy and cherish for many years to come.

I am in no rush to sell, the longer it takes to sell the more time I’ll have to enjoy her, if it doesn’t sell by March, I will get it booked in for a respray and give her the tender loving care she deserves.
