Welcome to the listing for february 1967 volkswagen beetle 1300 finished in ivy white. Before i go on the description please note this is wife's car and terms of sale are as a private sale. It is a reluctant sale only being sold to in order to fund house renovations.
imported by a swedish friend of ours form sweden 3 years ago she has undergone major structural repairs while retaining all the original body panel and arches. The car comes with original handbooks and original key. Fully uk registered tax & mot exempt.
we replaced most under body panels including floor pans, front tub, inner arches repaired with repair panels in places where necessary, full resto photos available upon request. The bonnet, roof and boot are all original paint work along with some of the arches with some minor patina. All other panels including the underbody (also sealed in off white underbody guard) have been painted due to the necessary repairs. After the structural repairs where finished we carried out the following mechanical requirements: New clutch, new anti roll bar (stabiliser links for this year were hard to come by), rear trailing arms and service.
the car starts and drives very well. Since in our possession it has been garaged at all times and used locally on a regular basis.
