Originally a conversion carried out by a volvo dealer it has had 6 former owners who never completed the task. We have owned this unusual vehicle for 8 years and have driven it around and exhibited it but not finished it. The cradley heath volvo nut changed the engine transmission and fuel tank and waited for me to complete the rear deck- which i haven't yet- and will not be able to due to ill health and injury. It will be mot'd for sale and regrettably passed on to someone with a little more time.
it has a b23 fuel injected engine and manual transmission and is a good ride and sprightly performer. What is needed is a load deck frame welded to the chassis, a deck of aluminium and a better rear window. A ladder bar or light bar would improve matters plus- a better way of closing the rear tailgate-
we are anticipating getting ready to drive away by the end of the christmas holidays - but who knows what will crop up to delay matters- again.
