Shelby Cobra 289 FIA Racecar.
State of art build by Gelscoe Motorsport UK.
It was a no expense spared process, with only the very best components available.
The 289 engine is a latest specification Steve Warrior unit, producing 473 bhp on the dyno.
Test reports are present in the documentation file.
The exhaust is a full ceramic coated stainless steel system, The brand new T10 gearbox is made in accordance with FIA Homologation, and paired to a final drive with H/ D output shafts.
The rear diff is correct cast iron 4HU Salisbury Limited Slip differential mounted with homologated diff cooling.
The Cobra has a brand new 140 liters "endurance" fuel tank, with dual Holley fuel pumps.
The suspension has rosejointed A-arms and Koni 8211 shock absorbers which were especially developed for racing Cobra’s. The leafsprings are special made and upgrated for racing.
The brakes have AP Racing main cylinders with Girling CR and ORA calipers fitted with Pagid BLUE brake pads.
Crosthwaite & Gardiner magnesium wheels fitted with L-section Dunlop Racing tyres.
Everything is very lightweight, including the full aluminium body and Le Mans hardtop.
Period correct interior with Stewart Warner gauges, Wooden steering wheel etc.
Lightweight Tillet racing seat with full FIA approved 6-point harness and FIA specification roll cage.
Full FIA HTP and Setup documents.
The car is finished with the iconic Viking blue and red Targa Florio livery just as at the 1964 Targa Florio race.
The car has 3 hours of use on the clock and stands as new and ready to raced.
