25/ 11/ 2021 - engine oil and filter has just been changed with a premium petronas syntium 5w - 40 fully synthetic oil and a new honda hamp oil filter and sump washer, ready for its new owner (less than 10 miles ago at 98, 550). new halfords battery also fitted.
very clean mot history which can be viewed online, just the usual wear and tear advisories in the past no rust issues.
the original exhaust system is still in place with the original cat converter for mots and emissions
legendary k20a2 ivtec engine runs perfectly super smooth as expected, vtec works as it should with no smoke or coolant usage. Always warmed up properly etc
returns good mpg which is great for those long runs
6 speed gearbox again is perfectly smooth with no crunching at any rpm, clutch still feels like new, with biting point in the middle where it should be.
bodywork is in good condition, super smooth glossy paintwork, may have minor age related marks but for the age it really is extremely clean, well kept and garaged all times so has reduced the chances of paint fading.
no rust on arches or rot behind the rear arch well carpets, honda fitted arch carpets for sound insulation on the facelift ep3s which cause rot to the arches and can safely say its all solid. Fuel filler neck again is in great condition and not rotted especially where it meets the body.
interior reflects the overall condition in great condition, no stains or scratches to the plastics, red insert door cards and kick panels are extremely clean. Recaro bucket seats are well kept with no holes, lever handles intact and not loose or broken. Seat bushes are solid and not worn out like some, it can cause seat to wobble about if they need refreshing etc. Has the footwell lights that light up red which looks great.
original alloy wheels are in good condition with good tyres
unabused example, never been on track days or thrashed around like most of them now. Drives exceptionally well with no noises or knocks, front top hats are silent with no knocking (common)
has been kept close to standard as possible with only three subtle reversable modifications such as eibach pro lowering springs all round which looks, ride great and don't scrape on bumps, red skunk2 rear lower control arms and a chrome oil cap all in great condition. Can easily be reversed back to standard if necessary.
