Just arrived in part exchange is this super desirable late model Range Rover Classic Soft Dash.
When the vehicle arrived with us it had had a repaint just over a year ago which presented well as a whole but had a few flaws here and there that we were not happy with so we have decided to embark on a full panel off repaint in Mosswood green to make a beautiful restomod vehicle.
The whole car was fully stripped off all of its trim and body panels removed, these were all painted off the vehicle to ensure a quality finish, every area that is usually satin black were also fully colour matched - this includes the door frames, body frame and inner arches. In addition to this I also colour keyed the rear quarters (these are usually vinyl covered and have been a popular upgrade on some of our previous cars)
I also purchased a set of LSE wheels which were colour matched with diamond cut lips and a full set of brand new good year wrangler tyres fitted (alone a £2k upgrade)
As all enthusiasts will know these petrol soft dash cars are the most revered of all the Range Rover Classics having a later fuel injected engine and a much more modern interior hence the “soft dash” moniker and air suspension for a perfect drive.
You will be aware that these cars can be a potential money pit at this age and expenditure can easily eat into five figures . The benefit of this car being it has had a small fortune spent on it in the last year to produce the beautiful machine that you see here. This has included the following:
replacement fuel pump and all new fuel lines
rear floor cut out and replaced
all new propshaft bearings
new lights and replacement wiring harness
transfer box overhauled
new inner front wings
replacement headlining
replacement lower and upper tailgate
large service with all filters and oils (october 2020)
new tyres
fully waxoyl treated underneath
new rocker cover gaskets
All works were carried out by a specialist land rover centre in derbyshire.
The car drives absolutely without fault as you would image and has a current MOT in place also.
Everything works exactly as it should do with the exception of the backrest adjustment on the drivers seat.
Vehicle is fully HPI clear
